Description
The American Association of Geographers (AAG) Dissertation Research Grants provide financial support to Ph.D. candidates conducting dissertation research in any area of geography. These competitive awards are intended to help doctoral students advance their research at a critical stage, with funding available for a variety of research-related expenses. The program is supported by the AAG and several dedicated funds, including the Robert D. Hodgson Memorial Ph.D. Dissertation Fund, the Paul Vouras Fund (with preference for minority students), and the Otis Paul Starkey Fund (supporting regional or U.S.-focused research).
