Description
The American Association of Immunologists (AAI) Equity in Immunology Travel Award helps eligible trainees and early-career faculty from disadvantaged backgrounds attend IMMUNOLOGY2027, AAI’s annual meeting. It supports participation in the scientific meeting rather than a stand-alone research project. Applicants must have submitted a first-author abstract for a podium or poster presentation.
The award provides $1,250 toward meeting-related expenses, with payment following the meeting. Preference is given to applicants from laboratories with limited research support, documented through a Funding Confirmation Form. Trainee recipients may also receive recognition through the AAI Trainee Abstract Award or AAI Trainee Poster Award, but may collect the monetary value of only one award.
