Description
The AAI Outreach Program provides career development opportunities for young investigators while supporting American Association of Immunologists members’ volunteer efforts in immunology. It supports activities at member-organized immunology meetings, including podium and poster presentation awards, student workshops, and career sessions. These activities give students and postdoctoral fellows opportunities to present their research and participate in career-focused programming.
Past support has included abstract presentation awards at regional immunology conferences, as well as an undergraduate workshop and careers roundtable at the Autumn Immunology Conference. The program focuses on meetings that prominently feature immunology, offer open registration, and provide presentation opportunities for young investigators.
