Description
The American Association of Immunologists (AAI) Trainee Abstract Award supports trainees whose research is selected for presentation in the annual meeting’s scientific program. It provides complimentary meeting registration rather than funding the conduct of a research project. The award is intended for AAI Trainee members, including undergraduate students, graduate students, young professionals, and postdoctoral fellows, whose first-author abstracts are chosen for Major Symposium or Block Symposium podium presentations.
AAI members with expertise in the relevant field review submitted abstracts and select outstanding work for Block Symposia, highlighting exciting science. AAI member graduate students and postdoctoral fellows are also considered for research presentations in Major Symposia. Award consideration is automatic for eligible abstract submitters who indicate willingness to give a podium presentation.
