Description
The American Academy of Implant Dentistry Foundation (AAIDF) Research Grants Program provides limited support for meritorious dental implant research. The Foundation funds researchers discovering new and innovative ways to advance implant dentistry and translate their findings into practice. Investigators from any scientific discipline and at any career stage may apply when their projects relate to dental implantology.
Supported work includes studies assessing the feasibility of larger research projects, development and testing of new techniques and procedures, small clinical or animal studies, and analysis of grant data. These examples are not exhaustive. The program includes Large Research Grants and David Steflik Memorial Student Research Grants, supporting both discovery and the development of approaches relevant to implant dentistry.
