--- ## Description This award honors an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who is a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and has practiced in neurology for less than five years. It recognizes outstanding commitment to patient care, exemplary service, and high-quality performance in the field of neurology. Recipients receive a monetary award, an honorary plaque, and recognition at the AAN Annual Meeting and in AAN publications. --- ## Due Dates - October 2026 (application deadline, anticipated/projected) *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - $1,000 honorarium - Honorary plaque - Recognition at the AAN Annual Meeting and in AAN publications --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and AAN members in good standing. - Must have practiced neurology as an APP for five years or less at the time of application. - Must meet the AAN definition of an APP: a licensed practitioner spending the majority of their time in clinical practice related to neurology. --- ## Application Process - Applications may be self-submitted or nominations by others. - Required materials: - Completed application form, including a 500-word statement of interest describing excellence in quality care, service, and performance. - Current curriculum vitae (CV). - An AAN account is required to submit an application.
