Description
The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) offers this scholarship to help US medical students explore neurology through a personalized experience at its Annual Meeting. The program introduces students to diverse neurologic subspecialties, career pathways, and therapeutic advances, with the goal of stimulating interest in pursuing the field.
Recipients participate in dedicated educational activities, scientific presentations from leaders in neurology, and opportunities to broaden their professional networks. A tailored itinerary combines required and suggested programming, including education, science, networking, and mentoring activities. In addition to meeting and travel support, recipients receive a Certificate of Recognition and acknowledgment at the AAN Medical Student Symposium.
