Description
The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Health Care Equity Program is a cohort-based initiative designed to empower neurologists to create and implement strategies addressing health care disparities. The program features a structured curriculum that begins with an in-person kickoff at the AAN Annual Meeting, followed by virtual workshops and ongoing project work at participants' home institutions. Throughout the year, participants develop individualized projects aimed at mitigating disparities in neurological health care. Graduates receive recognition for their contributions and gain practical tools to advance health equity in their professional environments.
