Description
The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) offers this award to recognize an advanced practice provider’s volunteer contributions to patients, organizations, and communities related to neurology or brain health. All areas of service in which the applicant has invested personal time will be considered. Rather than funding a specified research project, the award honors service that advances neurology and benefits others.
The application asks candidates to describe the impact of their contributions, demonstrate leadership and sustained commitment to volunteer work, and explain how their service aligns with advancing neurology and supporting the mission of professional organizations such as the AAN. Recipients receive a monetary prize and recognition within the neurology community.
