Description
This opportunity, administered by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and the Academy for Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Research, is designed to support up to two early-career, research-oriented AAPM members. Selected participants join the Council of Early Career Investigators in Imaging (CECI2) for a year-long program that includes virtual meetings, workshops, and sponsored in-person attendance at the Academy’s Medical Imaging Technology Showcase (MedTech) in Washington, DC. The program focuses on advocacy, NIH funding, mock study sessions, grant application strategies, and professional development, offering mentorship and networking with leaders in academia, industry, and the NIH.
