This opportunity, jointly sponsored by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and the Academy for Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Research, supports up to two early-career, research-oriented AAPM members in joining the Council of Early Career Investigators in Imaging (CECI²). The program provides a year of virtual engagement—webinars, workshops, and networking—with academic leaders, NIH staff, and industry partners, all focused on advocacy, NIH funding, grant writing, and career development. Awardees also attend the Academy’s Medical Imaging Technology Showcase and participate in advocacy meetings and NIH events in Washington, DC, gaining valuable exposure and professional connections in the medical imaging research community.
