The AAPM Science Council Associates Mentorship Program (SCAMP) is designed to recognize and cultivate outstanding early-career medical physicists by providing immersive mentorship and engagement in the scientific activities of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). Through a structured shadowing process, Associates are paired with mentors from AAPM committees and integrated into meetings, task groups, and working groups. The program aims to foster future leaders in medical physics, offering exposure to scientific leadership, abstract review, early career investigator judging, and participation in major annual meetings.
