Description
The American Association of Physicists in Medicine’s Sexual and Gender Minority Subcommittee (SGMSC) Trainee Travel Award celebrates medical physics students and trainees who promote respect, understanding, and belonging. It recognizes efforts to ensure that sexual and gender diverse communities are welcomed and valued within medical physics, while helping recipients attend the AAPM Annual Meeting.
This merit-based award supports trainees committed to equity and inclusion through their experiences, learning, or personal values, and eager to develop further skills in this area. Applicants describe their research, education, service, or professional motivations for attending the meeting.
