Description
The Association for Academic Surgery’s AAS/AASF Trainee Research Fellowship Awards support research by surgical residents and fellows across four areas of surgical investigation. The awards provide salary support and direct research costs for approved projects, connecting trainees’ research development with improvements in surgical care, access, outcomes, and education.
Global surgery projects focus on improving surgical access, capacity, education, and outcomes in resource-limited settings.
