Description
The AASM Fellow Boot Camp is organized by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and funded by the AASM Foundation. It prepares incoming sleep medicine fellows with the baseline knowledge and clinical and procedural skills needed to begin fellowship confidently and excel during their training year. The course combines lectures, interactive case discussions, and hands-on learning across two half-days in Baltimore, Maryland.
Developed by the AASM Sleep Medicine Fellowship Directors Council Steering Committee and Fellow Boot Camp Subcommittee, the program also provides opportunities to connect with peers. The 2026 format added a virtual kick-off featuring educational sessions and networking with incoming and current fellows, alongside a Saturday evening dinner for in-person fellow attendees.
