Description
The AATS Foundation Research Scholarship is a flagship program supporting early-career cardiothoracic surgeons in North America who are committed to an academic career. Established in 1985, the scholarship provides a two-year grant to facilitate research, training, and clinical experience in the field of cardiothoracic surgery. The award is designed to foster the development of young surgical scientists, encouraging innovative research and professional growth. Recipients are also given complimentary registration to an AATS Annual Meeting, where their achievements are recognized.
