Description
Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) welcomes investigator-initiated studies from academic and community-based researchers worldwide. Its Scientific Research Review Committee evaluates proposals for alignment with ADC’s goal of advancing clinical and scientific understanding of how glucose levels relate to health and well-being.
Research interests include sensor-based monitoring to optimize therapy or study glucose variability, including in people with diabetes, pre-diabetes, obesity, or cardiac disease. ADC also considers studies of lifestyle, activity, and nutrition; behavioral and quality-of-life effects of monitoring; and digital or telehealth systems that use glucose data to guide diabetes therapy.
