Description
The Sigma/American Board for Occupational Health Nurses (ABOHN) collaborative research grant encourages qualified nurses to advance occupational health through nursing research. It supports pilot and/or development research conducted in occupational health settings, with funding provided jointly by the Sigma Foundation for Nursing and ABOHN. The grant is open to certified occupational health nurses and non-certified nurses studying occupational health nursing who meet the membership and licensure requirements.
The program also emphasizes dissemination of research findings. Recipients must share their work through a final report and abstract in the Sigma Repository, agree to ABOHN publicizing the project and findings, and develop a conference poster and/or submit the project for peer-reviewed publication. Research grant partners must be credited in all publications and presentations.
