Key Information: A graduate student and university professor must apply jointly.
The ACA J.P. Gleason Research Fellowship Program supports graduate research that advances scientific understanding of cement and concrete and improves their production and use. Run by the American Cement Association Education Foundation, it complements ACA’s other research efforts by exploring cutting-edge topics and bringing new perspectives to established questions. The program also helps develop future cement and concrete industry personnel through research experience.
Current research interests align with ACA’s Roadmap to Carbon Neutrality and span sustainability and resilience, cement manufacturing, and testing and tools, with no priority among these areas. Proposals should explain how results would benefit cement producers. Nationally relevant work applicable to all ACA members has a greater chance of selection than regionally focused research.
