Description
The South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA) offers the Academic Matching Grant, formerly called the Maturation Grant, to support translational research sponsored by institutions of higher education. The program focuses on moving research beyond academic study toward practical use.
SCRA is a public, nonprofit corporation chartered by the State of South Carolina. Its broader mission is to accelerate technology-enabled growth in academia, entrepreneurship, and industry. SCRA grant funding is made possible in part by contributions to its Industry Partnership Fund.
