Description
The Iowa Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) invites proposals for academic research projects from faculty at select Iowa academic affiliates. This program aims to stimulate innovative research, foster student engagement in STEM, and build collaborations with NASA centers. Projects must align with one or more of NASA’s five Mission Directorates: Aeronautics Research, Exploration Systems Development, Science, Space Operations, and Space Technology.
The initiative emphasizes:
- Promoting student experiences (internships, fellowships, scholarships)
- Engaging in applied research to address NASA Mission Directorate challenges
- Educating and engaging precollege STEM students and educators
- Elevating ISGC’s impact across Iowa
Proposals should demonstrate strong NASA relevance, involve undergraduate students, and encourage collaboration with other affiliates or NASA centers.
