    Description

Academic Year Funding is part of Brandeis University’s Provost’s Undergraduate Research Fund. It provides expense-based support for non-thesis research and creative projects conducted during the fall and spring semesters. Projects across all disciplines are supported, including the creative arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and interdisciplinary fields.

The fund helps cover the practical costs of conducting research or producing creative work under a Brandeis faculty mentor’s oversight. Support may include research supplies and equipment, compensation for interviewees in IRB-approved projects, off-campus research expenses, and eligible business-vendor services. Awards are based on project expenses, and funds are limited.
