Description
The ACCEL-KS Kansas SBIR/STTR Matching Program supports early-stage Kansas researchers, innovators, and small businesses in their pursuit of federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) awards. The program offers two main types of support:
- Phase 0: Proposal development assistance for preparing competitive SBIR/STTR Phase I submissions.
- Phase I: State matching funds for businesses that have been awarded a federal SBIR/STTR Phase I grant.
The goal is to increase the number and success rate of SBIR/STTR proposals from Kansas, accelerate technology commercialization, and strengthen the state's innovation ecosystem.
