Description
ACCEL-KS Proof of Concept is a statewide initiative run by the Kansas Department of Commerce to accelerate the commercialization of groundbreaking ideas and products. The program prioritizes proof-of-concept (PoC) and research and development (R&D) efforts, helping transform high-potential projects into market-ready solutions.
Through financial assistance and wrap-around support systems, ACCEL-KS aims to activate Kansas’ innovation ecosystem and fast-track projects toward commercial success. Funding is directed to Kansas-based incubators and innovation hubs. Eligible uses span equipment and facility use, grant funding distribution, professional services, travel, marketing, communications, and training, supporting the program’s central focus on moving innovative ideas toward commercial use.
