Description
The Mitacs Accelerate Fellowship enables graduate students (master’s and PhD) to collaborate with industry, non-profit, municipal, or hospital partners on research projects that bridge academic inquiry and real-world application. Fellows split their time between their academic institution and the partner organization, working on innovative, impactful projects while receiving a competitive stipend and professional skills training. The program is designed to foster career development, increase research impact, and build networks across academia and the private/public sectors.
