Description
Mitacs Accelerate International enables students and postdoctoral fellows from Canadian institutions to participate in collaborative research projects in Mitacs’s partner countries, and allows international students to undertake research projects in Canada. The program aims to foster bilateral research collaborations between academia and industry, provide hands-on experience, and facilitate knowledge exchange. Projects must demonstrate clear benefits to Canada, such as talent development, research growth, new partnerships, or intellectual property creation. The program is open to all disciplines and supports a wide range of research and innovation activities.
