Description
Mitacs Accelerate is a flexible, research-based internship program designed to foster collaboration between Canadian post-secondary students, postdoctoral fellows, academic researchers, and both for-profit and not-for-profit partner organizations. The program funds applied research projects that address complex challenges, drive innovation, and support knowledge transfer. Interns gain hands-on experience and professional development, while partner organizations access academic expertise and talent. Projects can be scaled from a single 4-month internship unit to multi-year, multi-intern initiatives.
