Summary: Supports U.S. community-based initiatives expanding dental care access for underserved children, aiming to improve pediatric oral health and serve as a primary dental provider.
This grant supports community-based programs in the United States and its Territories that provide dental care to underserved or limited-access children (ages 18 and under). The goal is to address pediatric oral health disparities by funding organizations that act as a primary dentist for these children, fostering innovative approaches to expand access to regular and comprehensive dental care. Funding may be used for a wide range of expenses directly linked to improving child oral health, including salaries, equipment, transportation, educational materials, and nontraditional project costs, as long as they result in children receiving dental care.
