Description
The Oklahoma City Community Foundation’s Access to Health Care Community Grant provides general operating support to organizations improving and expanding health care services for people who would otherwise go without care. Its priorities cover medical, dental, vision, and mental health services, from prevention through treatment. The program aims to strengthen communities where individuals and families can prioritize their health and receive quality care without barriers such as location or ability to pay.
Supported work includes free and affordable clinical care, counseling, prescription medications, immunizations, low-vision rehabilitation, and early breast cancer detection. Recent grants also support case management connecting people to primary and mental health care, transportation and translation for medical appointments, and dental treatment for people with limited access.
