This Horizon Europe Innovation Action funds the development and testing of advanced, inclusive solutions to facilitate seamless travel and border crossing procedures across the EU. The focus is on making travel more accessible, fair, and secure for all, particularly for families, groups, people with disabilities, and those with limited digital skills. Proposals should address current capability gaps in travel facilitation systems, minimize bias and data sharing through improved biometric matching, and ensure harmonized approaches for all European border control staff. Solutions must actively involve relevant security practitioners and align with the priorities of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) and eu-LISA.
