Description
This award supports U.S. or Canadian medical or osteopathic students (1st, 2nd, or 3rd year) in conducting a short-term (6–10 week) mentored research project in gastroenterology or hepatology during the summer. The goal is to foster early interest in the field through hands-on, patient-oriented research experiences under the guidance of an ACG member mentor. The funding is intended to defray living expenses during the research period, and successful applicants are also eligible for travel reimbursement to attend the ACG Annual Scientific Meeting.
