Description
The ACG Clinical Research Pilot Awards are designed to foster the development of promising clinical researchers by supporting innovative, patient-oriented research projects in gastroenterology or hepatology. These one-year pilot awards provide early-stage investigators—including fellows, junior faculty, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and international physicians—the opportunity to gather preliminary data for future research proposals. Projects must be directly relevant to digestive or liver diseases, with a focus on clinical applicability, and may include translational, clinical, social science, or health services research.
