The ACOG Foundation, the charitable arm of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, supports programmatic projects and clinical research aligned with its charitable, educational, and scientific activities and ACOG’s strategic priorities. Programmatic priorities include reducing preventable maternal mortality and severe maternal morbidity, transforming the profession’s culture to advance health equity, increasing data-driven understanding of ob-gyns to meet patient needs, and advancing public education in a post-Dobbs environment.
The research track seeds clinical studies in an underfunded field, emphasizing integration of clinical and population-based approaches, quality of life, and implementation science. Priority conditions are endometriosis, PCOS, uterine fibroids, and menopause; basic research is not the focus. Across both tracks, proposals should substantively support diversity, equity, and inclusion and engage diverse and underserved communities.
