Description
The American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation (CHF) supports high-impact scientific research to prevent, treat, and cure canine disease and help all dogs live healthier lives. The Fall 2027 ACORN cycle supports investigations of canine disease processes, projects applying fundamental knowledge to canine health problems, and studies exploring outcomes-based solutions in clinical settings. Projects may use one approach or combine them.
Research may address any of CHF’s 25 Research Program Areas. Priority goes to studies addressing demonstrated needs, fostering critical discoveries, or producing outcomes that improve canine health care. Proposals must advance canine health through sound scientific research and align closely with CHF’s mission.
