Description
The ACORN Grant supports high-impact scientific research that advances the health of all dogs. Administered by the American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation (CHF), it funds investigations into canine disease processes, studies applying fundamental knowledge to canine health problems, and research exploring outcomes-based solutions in clinical settings. Projects may use one approach or combine them.
Research across CHF’s 25 Research Program Areas is welcome. Priority goes to studies that address demonstrated needs, foster critical discoveries, or produce outcomes that improve canine health care. The program connects scientific understanding of disease with practical solutions and clinical outcomes, supporting CHF’s mission to prevent, treat, and cure canine disease and help dogs live healthier lives.
