Description
The American Chemical Society (ACS) Award for Team Innovation recognizes multidisciplinary teams whose technical collaboration has moved an innovative idea into a product or process in commercial use. Sponsored by ACS Corporation Associates, the award highlights teamwork in the chemical and allied industries and innovations of special value to society that could only have been achieved through professionals working together effectively.
Selection considers the impact and speed of commercialization. The commercialization effort should have had no major adverse impact on human health or the environment, and the resulting product should provide users with realistic health, safety, and environmental protections consistent with its intended use.
