Description
The American Chemical Society’s ACS Bridge Travel & Professional Development Award helps students attend ACS Spring or Fall Meetings by defraying meeting-related expenses. Sponsored by the ACS Bridge Program, it supports both students presenting research and those attending workshops, networking events, speaker sessions, and other activities that build their knowledge and skills.
The award connects meeting participation with students’ academic and professional goals. Applicants explain how they will share research or apply what they learn to benefit peers, their institution, research group, workplace, or broader community. They also reflect on one of ACS’s four core values—Passion for Science, Lifelong Learning, Inclusion and Belonging, or Sustainability—and how the travel opportunity will help them advance that value.
