Description
The American Chemical Society’s ChemLuminary Awards honor outstanding examples of programming, outreach, and operations within its local sections, divisions, regional meetings, and international chemical sciences chapters. These are recognition awards rather than cash grants. Society committees present the honors to celebrate volunteers whose work improves people’s lives through chemistry, with public service, outreach, and community recognition central to the program.
Awards cover a broad range of activities, including chemistry communication, community celebrations, education, career development, safety, sustainability, ethics, international partnerships, and member engagement. Other awards recognize organizational performance and service to particular chemistry communities.
