Description
The ACS Division of Chemical Education’s International Travel Award supports one division member each year to present and participate fully in an international chemical education conference. The program connects international conference participation with sharing information and insights across DivCHED’s membership through division publications and website postings.
The award operates under guidelines developed by the International Activities Committee (IAC) and adopted by the division’s Executive Committee. Applications address how conference attendance relates to the applicant’s professional responsibilities and could benefit chemistry education research. The program gives preference to junior and/or under-represented faculty members who have not had the opportunity to attend an international meeting in chemical education.
