--- ## Description The ACS-Hach Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Scholarship is designed to support recent graduates and graduate students with limited work experience who aspire to become secondary (high school) chemistry teachers. The scholarship provides financial assistance toward the completion of a Masters degree in education or secondary chemistry/science teacher certification. In addition to the monetary award, recipients benefit from ongoing mentoring throughout a three-year teaching commitment. The scholarship is part of the broader ACS-Hach Programs, which aim to strengthen the pipeline of high school chemistry educators nationwide. Funds may be used for educational expenses such as tuition, books, room, and board, and are renewable for up to three years. --- ## Due Dates - May 1, 2026: Full application submission deadline --- ## Funding Amount - Up to $6,000 per year for full-time study - Up to $3,000 per year for part-time study - Renewable for up to three years - Funds are distributed in equal installments twice per academic year and can be used for tuition, books, room and board, and other educational expenses. [Create an account](https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=acs) on the ACS scholarship portal. 2. Select “2026 ACS-Hach Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Scholarship.” 3. Complete and submit a Letter of Intent (LOI). Once reviewed and approved, you will be invited to complete the full application. 4. Submit all required application materials by the deadline: - Two email addresses (primary will be used for login and contact) - One-page resume or CV - Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions - Admittance letter from the educational program - Personal narrative (four prompts, each ~250 words) 5. Ensure all materials are submitted electronically by May 1, 2026. Saved drafts are not considered submitted; you must click “Submit.” 6.
