The ACS International Chapters Recognition Program celebrates the achievements of ACS international members in mainland China through two distinctions: ACS Laureate and ACS Rising Leader. The ACS Laureate title is awarded to distinguished chemists from academia or industry for exceptional contributions to chemistry and significant professional influence. The ACS Rising Leader title recognizes early- and mid-career professionals (aged 40 or younger) in chemistry-related fields for their accomplishments.
Awardees receive an official ACS certificate and medal, public recognition via ACS communication channels, and the right to use the title in professional contexts. The selection process involves both China-based and international jurors, who evaluate candidates based on research, innovation, management, social impact, and professional influence.
