Description
The ACS PrepareCTP Seed Grant aims to foster the development of a diverse and skilled technical workforce in the chemical industry by supporting partnership-building activities at community colleges and other two-year degree-granting institutions. The grant provides funding for a range of activities, including student stipends and scholarships, faculty workload release, equipment and instrumentation purchases, internships, and initiatives that enhance recruitment and training of chemical technical professionals (CTPs). The initiative is part of the American Chemical Society’s strategic effort to address industry workforce needs and to strengthen collaborations between educational institutions and local chemistry-related employers.
