Description
The American Cancer Society Professor Award is a prestigious, honorific grant recognizing individuals who have made seminal, sustained, and impactful contributions to cancer research across diverse fields—including basic, translational, clinical, psychosocial, behavioral, health policy, and epidemiologic research. The award supports continued creative and innovative work in cancer research and recognizes recipients' leadership, mentoring, and community engagement. ACS Professors are also expected to serve as visible advocates and spokespeople for the American Cancer Society and the broader cancer research community.
