Description
The American Chemical Society (ACS) Student Communities Engagement Grant supports activities that build and strengthen student communities and increase unity within their groups. It funds outreach events, member engagement, career and professional development, and group growth for active ACS Student Chapters, International Student Chapters, and Graduate Student Organizations.
The program favors meaningful student community activities backed by a well-reasoned use of funds. Proposals should explain the event’s goals, connection to ACS core values, intended audience, and how success will be assessed. ACS also asks groups to describe who will plan the activity, including representatives of partner communities where relevant, and to address chemical safety considerations, potential hazards, and measures to manage them.
