--- ## Description This grant supports initiatives by ACS Student Chapters, International Student Chapters, and Graduate Student Organizations (GSOs) that aim to build and strengthen student communities within the chemical sciences. Activities may include outreach events, member engagement, career and professional development, and projects that foster group unity and growth. The program emphasizes meaningful, student-led activities and encourages thoughtful use of resources to maximize community impact. --- ## Due Dates - Applications are accepted year-round with no fixed deadline. - Submissions are reviewed every two weeks in the order received. - Funding is limited and may run out before the end of the year. --- ## Funding Amount - Maximum request per application: **up to $1,000** - Each group may receive this award **up to two times per year** - Funds are distributed to the university or chapter bank account; can be used as reimbursement if funds arrive after the event --- ## Eligibility Eligible applicants must be: - **Active ACS Student Chapters** - **Active ACS International Student Chapters** - **Active ACS Graduate Student Organizations (GSOs)** To be considered active: - At least **six members** with current ACS student membership (premium package required) - Student chapters and international student chapters must have chartered, reactivated, or submitted a report within the last three years - GSOs must submit an annual report at least once every three years Faculty advisors must be ACS members (standard or premium package). --- ## Application Process 1. If your group does not have a shared email, create one. 2. [Register for an account in the ACS grant application system](https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=acs). 3. Log in and select "Apply" under the Applicant Menu. 4. Choose "2026 ACS Student Communities Engagement Grant." 5. Complete the application form and upload required materials. You may save drafts and return before submitting. 6.
