--- ## Description This grant provides financial support to active ACS Student Chapters, International Student Chapters, and Graduate Student Organizations (GSOs) to enable their members to attend and participate in professional chemistry conferences, including ACS Spring, Fall, or Regional Meetings. The grant aims to foster professional development, networking, and engagement in the chemistry community by helping student groups offset conference-related expenses such as registration fees, lodging, and transportation. --- ## Due Dates - May 15, 2026: Application deadline - September 15, 2026: Application deadline - December 15, 2026: Application deadline You must apply at least three months before the conference you plan to attend. --- ## Funding Amount - Up to $225 for virtual conferences - Up to $500 for in-country (domestic) conferences - Up to $2,000 for out-of-country (international) conferences Each student community may receive this grant up to two times per year. Award amounts are subject to change and based on the type and location of the conference. Funds are disbursed to the university or chapter bank account. --- ## Eligibility Student communities must meet the following criteria: - Be an active ACS Student Chapter, International Student Chapter, or Graduate Student Organization (GSO). - Have at least six ACS student members with a premium package. - Have submitted at least one annual report within the last three years. - All students listed as travelers/presenters must be ACS student members with a premium package. - It is highly encouraged (but not strictly required) that at least one member presents a paper or poster at the meeting. --- ## Application Process 1. Ensure your group has a dedicated email address. 2. [Create an account in the ACS grant application system](https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=acs) for your student community. 3. Select "Apply" under the Applicant Menu and choose the "2026 ACS Student Communities Professional Meeting Grant." 4. Complete the application form and upload any required documents. 5. Submit the application (saving a draft does not count as submission). 6.
