--- ## Description The ACSM New Investigator Award is designed to honor and support early career researchers who have demonstrated strong initial independent research productivity in the fields of basic or clinical exercise science or sports medicine. Recipients are selected based on their educational background, training, and the quality of their early research contributions, with the expectation that they will continue to advance knowledge in these disciplines.
