    Description

The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) offers this grant and scholarship to encourage graduate students’ involvement in scholarly research and writing about college unions and student activities. Expanded in 2017 to include grant funding, the program recognizes work that contributes to the profession’s knowledge base and advances the ACUI Research Agenda.

Supported activities include master’s thesis and doctoral dissertation research, practicum projects involving research, data analysis, or writing in collaboration with ACUI, and collaborative research involving graduate students, practitioners, and faculty. Publication-ready articles by graduate students are also eligible. The program emphasizes original work, clear writing and intended outcomes, professional relevance, and feasibility within the proposed budget and timeline. Special consideration goes to students currently in, or intending to enter, the profession.
