Description
This Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action supports projects that develop innovative, human-centered approaches to empower persons with long-term disabilities—physical, mental, intellectual, or sensory—to live independently and be fully included in their communities. The initiative emphasizes reducing daily life barriers and supporting transitions from institutional to community-based living through research, new solutions, and inclusive data collection. Projects are expected to involve persons with disabilities and their representative organizations, integrate social sciences and humanities (SSH) expertise, and address multiple aspects of independent living, care, and inclusion across the life course.
