Description
The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) administers Conservation District Administrative Grants through its Conservation Resource Development Division and Conservation Districts Bureau. The grants supplement the operating funds of Montana conservation districts that demonstrate financial need. They can support basic costs such as staff wages and benefits, insurance, office supplies, and equipment, helping districts maintain the capacity to carry out locally led conservation.
The funding comes from the Montana Legislature and is part of DNRC’s broader Conservation District Grants program.
