Description
This opportunity provides administrative supplements to current NIH grant and cooperative agreement holders. The supplements are intended to cover increased costs that are within the scope of the peer-reviewed and approved project but were unforeseen when the original or competing renewal application was submitted. Supplements must be requested as prior approval actions and are routed directly to the Grants Management Officer of the parent award. There is no guarantee of funding, so applicants should consult with their NIH program and grants management officials before submitting a request.
Supplements must strictly remain within the original project’s peer-reviewed scope. This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) does not support new projects or extensions beyond the originally approved project period.
