Description
The New Jersey Department of Health’s Child and Adolescent Health program, within the Division of Family Health Services, administers this grant. It funds adolescent-focused programs that bring family and community support into efforts to promote the health of school-aged children.
Funded programs use the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) School Health model and implement an evidence-based Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum. The grant also supports the infrastructure, health education, and related program services needed to carry out that work.
